HELP! I’M so over MY CRM
“I love my CRM” – said no nonprofit leader ever.
Most nonprofits are at some stage of frustration with their CRM. But could your CRM work better, do you just need to know how to use the dang thing, or is it time to flip it all together?
We’ll figure it out in one month.
Is this your life right now?
- You filed 1-2 complaints about your CRM every week
- You got a fancy new CRM but everyone is still in ∞ spreadsheets
- You got the CRM that your friend has, but somehow it’s not working for you like it does for her
- You blame yourself for not having the discipline to keep your CRM updated
- You have Mr. Potato Head, Mrs. Potato Head, the Potato Head family, and Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead all as separate records in your CRM
- You feel in your bones that it just shouldn’t be this hard
Most nonprofits are in a vicious cycle with their CRM…
…And most repeat this cycle every 3 years. Your CRM relationship doesn’t have to look like this!

Every 3 years!

Who You’re Working With:

Laura is the rare combination of someone who can zoom all the way out to big picture strategy and best practice and then bring it all the way down to the littlest things you can do to get there.
She has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, a B.A. in French studies (because live your dreams!) and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan with a focus on operations. She’s certified in Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement, and has spent 15 years overseeing change management and technology adoption – sometimes in a new language.
She’s taught nationally on CRMs, fundraising road mapping, and nonprofit technology adoption through Tech Soup, Nonprofit Technology Engagement Network (NTEN), and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
Locally, she’s supported hundreds of nonprofits throughout Austin, including major capacity builders like Mission Capital, the Nonprofit Center of Excellence at Austin Community College, and I Live Here I Give Here. Her company, Good Egg Solutions, donates 3% of its profits to nonprofit organizations.
